Field Day Spreads Knowledge of Efficient Fruit and Vegetable Business
July 30, 2010 — In Crimea’s Bakhchysaray Raion, the USAID LINC Project organized and carried out a Field Day workshop on the land belonging to a local farmer.
The event attracted about a hundred participants including farmers as well as government officials, agricultural scientists, suppliers of agricultural materials and equipment, media people, and representatives from USAID. The workshop’s objective was to demonstrate modern horticulture and viticulture trends, analyze cost-effectiveness of various crops, and generalize experience in growing most cost-effective crops.
