USAID LINC, ICC Ukraine, ZED Hold Seminar on Equipment Customs Clearance
July 30, 2010 — USAID LINC in collaboration with the Ukrainian National Committee of the International Camber of Commerce (ICC Ukraine) and the Association of Exporters and Importers “ZED” held a seminar on “Customs Clearance of Hi-Tech and Industrial Equipment” for enterprises that need to clear equipment as well as auditors and brokers that serve such enterprises.
The seminar, which gathered over 50 participants, focused on specifics of clearing high-tech and industrial equipment, international and Ukrainian practices of equipment customs clearance, state supervision procedures for international commodities transfer, certification of equipment, and post-clearance taxes and risks.
