USAID LINC Hosts Food Safety Pain Point Identification Focus Group for Agricultural Producers

Aug. 3, 2010 — USAID LINC in conjunction with the International Institute for Food Safety and Quality held the first in a series of focus groups to identify primary barriers to the production, transportation and preparation of high-quality food products in Crimea.

The focus group, held in Yevpatoria, Crimea, was attended by agricultural producers representing a variety of agri-food products. The focus groups will form part of an overall research initiative prior to the design and delivery of targeted interventions to tackle the obstacles identified.
