PPP Law Published

July 30, 2010 — Verkhovna Rada’s Holos Ukrainy newspaper published the Law “On Public-Private Partnership,” which is coming into effect in three months, on October 30, 2010.

According to the Presidential Press Service, the law lays down legal, economic and organizational principles of interaction between public and private partners, guides their relations on the stages of drafting, implementing and terminating PPP agreements, and provides guarantees for observance of the parties’ rights and interests.

The law was signed by the President on July 24, and passed by Verkhovna Rada on July 1, 2010.
