USAID LINC Supports Jazz Koktebel Pre-Party
July 31, 2010 — USAID LINC provided support to Jazz Koktebel Festival Pre-Party, held in Feodosia, Crimea, within the project’s activities aimed at developing event tourism in the peninsula.
LINC arranged for a round table meeting of Jazz Koktebel organizers with tourist business and media representatives in order to establish contacts that may lead to better publicity of the festival and consequently more visitors.
Organized for the first time in Crimea, this pre-party event showcased Crimean music bands to be selected for the Jazz Koktebel Festival, scheduled for Sept. 9-12, 2010. The headliner of the concert, Karl Frierson of De Phazz, sang to an accompaniment of a band from Sevastopol.
