Central Luhansk Task Forces Identify Economic Development Goals

In Alchevsk, Luhansk Oblast, task forces within the Expert Committee for Economic Development of the Central Luhansk Sub-region identified goals of the sub-region’s economic development strategy that the committee is drafting with assistance from the USAID LINC Project.

The task forces were formed for each of the strategy’s critical sectors (alternative energy, coal-metal complex, and machinery building) and critical issues (investment attraction, infrastructure development, and SME development) identified earlier.

The Central Luhansk Sub-region includes the Luhansk Oblast’s cities of Alchevsk, Bryanka and Stakhanov.
