Resolution Signed to Implement Tavria Sub-regional Economic Strategy

A Resolution on Operations of the Tavria Economic Development Coordination Council was signed by the members of Tavria Communities Association (economic sub-region in the Kherson Oblast that includes Kakhovka city and raion, Beryslav city and raion, and the cities of Nova Kakhovka and Tavriysk).

The Coordinating Council was established on July 27, 2009 to ensure implementation of the region’s Competitiveness Strategic Plan, which is the first ever sub-regional economic strategy in Ukraine, developed with USAID’s guidance and assistance.
