Sudak Adopts Economic Development Strategy

September 15, 2011, Sudak, Crimea — The Sudak City Rada adopted the Economic Development Strategic Plan. The document had been drafted for the territory under the Rada’s jurisdiction by a local Expert Committee under the guidance of USAID LINC.

The strategy includes five action plans for agribusiness; tourism; space planning of the city and the region; housing, utilities and communal infrastructure; and entrepreneurial activities.

The Expert Committee began working on the strategy in March 2010 and finalized the draft in June 2011.

Territorially, the Sudak City Rada extends its jurisdiction to Sudak proper and a number of villages, including Novy Svit and Sonyachna Dolyna renowned for their wines.
