- THE ONE-STOP SHOP TWO-IN-ONE
  On Sept. 2, 2010, Crimean Premier Vasyl Dzharty cut the ribbon on the entry to the Crimean Republican and Simferopol City Permit One-Stop Shop, established with assistance from USAID.
- THE SMELL OF HOPE AND THE SMILES OF HOSPITALITY
  On June 18 and July 13, 2010, in Yevpatoria, Crimea, USAID LINC and the Crimean Tatar cultural and ethnographic center Odun Bazaar Qapusi presented new ethnographic tours to representatives from the Crimean tourism industry and media.
- CRIMEAN JOURNALISTS LEARN ECONOMICS
  On May 20-22 and 27-28, 2010, USAID's LINC and Internews Network U-Media projects conducted in Simferopol a workshop on economic journalism for a group of Crimean media people. The training is expected to result in a broader and more competent coverage of economic and business issues in the Crimean local media.
- FROM CRIMEA TO CRIMEA WITH ONE STOP IN KHERSON
  On April 26, 2010, USAID LINC brought a group of Crimean officers to Kherson for a three-day study tour of its Permit Center – to share the city's experience in establishing and running the one-stop shop.
- FDI TRAINING: OVER AND OVER AGAIN
  On April 26, 2010, the LINC project's first cycle of the foreign direct investment (FDI) training program culminated in a graduation ceremony, adding strength to Ukraine's FDI professional force
- GUIDING CRIMEAN GUIDES
  In late March and early April 2010, the USAID Local Investment and National Competitiveness project (LINC) in conjunction with two Crimea-based companies carried out a training course in Best Practices in Practical Tourist Guiding for two groups of Crimean tourist guides, coaching them to the international guiding standards.

  On April 10, 2010, a Crimean farmer put a greenhouse into operation on a plot that is LINC's base for sowing and growing agricultural know-how on the peninsula
- INFO AND A COFFEE, PLEASE!
  On March 5-6, 2010, in Yalta, Crimea, the USAID Local Investment and National Competitiveness project (LINC) and the Ukrainian House, a Kyiv-based tourist information center, held a workshop for Crimean tourism professionals on the establishment, operation, functions, and networking of tourist information centers.
- LOOKING FOR NEW APPROACHES IN AGRICULTURE
  In March 2010, the USAID LINC project organized two events for Crimean agrarians wishing to learn new ideas for increasing the efficiency of farmers' work.
- MADE IN CRIMEA
  On Jan. 22, 2010, the USAID Local Investment and National Competitiveness (LINC) project in its Crimean office hosted a meeting with local artisans’ initiative group. All 13 members of the group signed on to establish Crimea's first Craft Guild in the framework of the nonprofit organization Slow Food
