July 12-13, 2010 — In Rivne and then Lutsk, USAID LINC signed a Protocol of Intentions to develop and implement a Competitiveness and Economic Development Strategic Plan for a territory called in the protocol the Central Volyn Sub-region.

July 8, 2011 — In the Volyn Oblast’s Kivertsi Raion’s village of Hremyache, near the border with the Rivne Oblast, USAID LINC conducted a round table on technology commercialization for SME competitiveness for representatives from research, educational and financial institutions, businesses, and local governments in the Central Volyn Sub-region.
