Chernivtsi Wants New Strategy

Sep. 16, 2010 — A joint meeting of members of two committees in Chernivtsi came to conclusion on necessity to develop a new strategy for the city, which currently participates in the development, with assistance from USAID LINC, of the Bukovyna-Podillya region’s tourism industry strategy. The meeting was attended by members of the Chernivtsi Competitiveness Strategy Implementation Management Committee and the Chernivtsi delegates to the Expert Committee that is drafting the strategy for the Bukovyna-Podillya region.

Protocol of Intentions Signed

June 23, 2010 — USAID LINC and the cities of Chernivtsi, Novoselytsya and Khotyn, and the raions of Novoselytsya and Khotyn in the Chernivtsi Oblast, as well as the city and raion of Kamyanets-Podilsky in the Khmelnytsky Oblast signed the Protocol of Intentions to develop and implement a common regional competitiveness strategy.
