USAID LINC Suggests Dual Speed Development for Teplodar Industrial Park

Oct. 7, 2010 — In Teplodar, Odesa Oblast, USAID LINC presented the Conceptual Design of the Teplodar Industrial Park to local government officers and businesspeople, suggesting so called “dual-speed” development for two parts of the 193-acre parcel, mostly the incomplete nuclear power plant project site.

Teplodar Has Drafted Its Economic Strategy

2010-02-10 - Odesa oblast’s Teplodar Expert Committee for Economic Development at its final meeting presented the draft Teplodar Economic Development Strategic Plan. The strategy focuses on creation of conditions for investment attraction, improvement of business development infrastructure and labor resources, and development of hard infrastructure.

Jan. 21, 2010 — USAID LINC and the cities of Odesa, Teplodar and Yuzhne, as well as the Odesa Oblast’s raions of Bilyaivka, Kominternivske and Ovidiopol signed the Protocol of Intentions to develop and implement a common regional competitiveness strategy. Teplodar Identifies Objectives of Its Economic Development Strategy

2009-12-18 - The Expert Committee for Economic Development of Teplodar, a city in the Odesa Oblast, identified objectives of the city's economic development strategy. The objectives are specific projects that the city has to implement in order to achieve goals of the Economic Development Strategic Plan being drafted by the committee with assistance and under the guidance of the USAID LINC project. The draft strategic plan of Teplodar focuses on investment attraction, development of housing, development of business and communal infrastructure, and development of human resources.

Teplodar Elaborates its Economic Strategy Non-Stop

December 1, 2009 - Just ten days after its first meeting, the Expert Committee for Economic Development of Teplodar, Odesa Oblast, met again to identify goals of the Economic Development Strategic Plan the committee is drafting with assistance from the USAID LINC project. At the preceding meeting, the committee selected the following critical issues for the strategy to address: investment attraction, development of housing, development of business and communal infrastructure, and development of human resources.

USAID LINC Signs Protocol of Intentions with Teplodar

October 13, 2009, Teplodar, Odesa Oblast — USAID LINC and the Teplodar City Rada signed a Protocol of Intentions to collaborate in developing and implementing a Teplodar Economic Development Strategic Plan.
